SK C&C Receives Highest Rating from 2013 EFC Sustainability Evaluation

SK C&C has been named by EFC (formerly Eco-Frienter) among the best companies in sustainable management for the third consecutive year, recognized as an exemplary company with its superb performance in sustainable management in the IT service industry.

SK C&C (www.skcc.com) announced on Feb. 16 that it had received an ‘S,’ the highest rating available, from 2013 EFC Sustainability Evaluation. Among the 41 companies who received the rating this year, SK C&C was the only IT service provider.

SK C&C scored high marks on its overall corporate management practices, including shared-growth efforts with business partners, CSR activities with employee participation, transparent management, improved investor value, anticorruption policy, and eco-friendly business projects.

EFC, in conjunction with world-renowned sustainability evaluation and investment consulting company Morgan Stanley Capital International, evaluates sustainability of Korean companies. EFC evaluates environmental and social aspects and management structure of those companies, and provides an overall grade of each category in 9 different grade levels from an S to D.

Vice President Cho Bong-chan, head of SKMS Division at SK C&C, said, “Sustainable management is growing into a distinct corporate culture within SK C&C with engaged participation from all of our members.” He also added, “SK C&C will strengthen its role as the leader in sustainable management in the overall domestic areas as well as the IT services industry.”

Meanwhile, SK C&C has been included in the world-renowned DJSI World for the second consecutive year last September, and named the Industry Leader, a title given to companies with the best sustainability management in its industry.
